A touch of grandezza.
Elegance trumps eccentricity. A country that has traditionally put a premium on high-quality, hand-made attire and footwear and a city where people popping out for nothing more than a simple ciabatta, yet dressed for the Scala, do not seem out of place, have made fashion an integral part of their culture. After all, the simple label “Made in Italy” conjures up a classic and exclusive look. Between February 22nd and 28th 2012, however, the catwalk will shift from Milan’s streets to a string of actual shows as part of the Milano Donna Moda. More than 60 labels, among them all the big-name and traditional fashion houses, but also several newcomer designers, will present their Fall/Winter 2012 womenswear collections. A true must-see for all buyers and journalists!
