Creative director David Carette, whose agency Demain, il fera jour regularly works with clients like Dior and KENZO, deliberately picked this gritty urban setting to show off the new Mercedes-Benz GLA. After all, the high-octane stunner with its sleek lines and luxurious exterior might look like a compact SUV, but soon reveals a different nature: unusual, youthful, athletic, wild. Inspired by a coupe’s silhouette, it pushes boundaries with a combination of progressive technologies and maximum efficiency. It was designed to leave everyday life behind and explore all options.

Just as stylish and directional as the new GLA: the protagonists of Mercedes-Benz‘ Fashion Campaign Autumn/Winter 2014. While Georgia May Jagger embodies the essence of rebellious beauty, Eliza Sys and Vincent Lacrocq add plenty of character and energy to the mix. Renowned stylist Nicoletta Santoro highlights this look with novel interpretations of the trench coat – think transparent, pipe-trimmed vinyl – metallic shimmer and strong graphic prints.

Completing the team, photographer Serge Leblon captures and frames the focused energy on display. The Belgian pro, who launched his career with photo journalism after a degree at Brussels’ INSAS, always deals in lively scenes, not mere frozen stills.
