National team meets new strike force – this would have been a good way to describe the meeting between Löw's lads and the new A-Class at the Bavaria Film Studios in Munich. They were gathered there to film an ad for the new Mercedes model – to be aired shortly before the start of the European Football Championship in May. Filming took place under the strictest secrecy, but that didn't stop the professional footballers from having a lot of fun.
The German Football Association and Mercedes-Benz have been working together for more than 40 years, but never have there been more similarities between the players and the product from Stuttgart – as made clear by the mere title of the planned European Championship campaign: "The heartbeat of a new generation". Go on, give it a shot!
