A blend of dynamism
The quest for the perfect swing is something that can occupy a golfer all his life. Australian golfer Adam Scott appears to have found this perfect swing at an early age. It is characterised, on the one hand, by elegant dynamism and on the other hand by an efficient technique, which enable him to play with precision and perfection. His extraordinary technique and passion for the game were demonstrated in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011, when he was a member of the President Cup Team.
2011 was one of the most successful years of his career. Among other things, he achieved his personal best performance in a Major: he shared the second place in the Masters in Augusta. Apart from this, he won the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio, USA and thus his first WGC title. For Scott these were not the only reasons to celebrate.
Mercedes-Benz made him their new international golf brand ambassador. His association with Mercedes-Benz began in January 2012 and involves world-wide TV and printed media campaigns, international public relations and Customer Care public appearances and activities in the Social Media sector.

On the golfing greens all around the world, the passionate surfer and enthusiastic amateur musician is much esteemed for his joviality and courtesy. But Adam Scott also enjoys great prestige because of his commitment to causes beyond the golf course. He founded the Adam Scott Foundation (ASF) in order to support underprivileged young people in his home country. Since its founding, all the prize money Scott wins in his Australian tournaments has been dedicated to it.
