After all, true style could never be bound by rules or conventions: Inspired by the new Mercedes-Benz CLA – a symbol of striving for one-of-a-kind expression – photo fans all over the globe are invited to become part of the distinctive digital photo exhibition #Untamed. Exceptional to the core, it presents the unusual and unique results of this social media crowdsourcing campaign as part of an innovative, art-infused live stream.

The task: Users are asked to submit and share truly personal perspectives via the popular Instagram app. Trawling this rich sea of digital snapshots, Mercedes-Benz and the new CLA will select the most outstanding examples – images that refuse to pander to mainstream aesthetics, but instead portray a bold, beautiful and untamed distillate of personal style and expression. To measure this level of uniqueness – far beyond conventional criteria – the so-called #Untamed Score indicates just how much a user’s submissions differ from those of other participants.
